Colombia Bengala grows in the high-altitude mountains of the Bengala region, an area known for its volcanic soils rich in minerals and a temperate tropical climate with consistent rainfall. The combination of high elevation, moderate temperatures, and fertile soils allows the coffee cherries to develop slow, uniform ripening, producing beans with naturally balanced sweetness, vibrant acidity, and full aroma.
The washed process ensures a clean and crisp cup, while sun-drying adds natural sweetness and depth. The varietals Caturra and Castillo contribute structure and a slightly citric complexity, creating a cup with chocolate and caramel notes, highlighted by bright grapefruit acidity.
Colombia Bengala is versatile and expressive, revealing its character in both espresso and filter preparations, making it ideal for those seeking clarity, balance, and layered flavors in every cup.
