Huehuetenango is one of Guatemala’s most renowned coffee-growing regions, located in the highlands near the Mexican border. Thanks to high elevations (1500–2000 m), cool nights, and warm dry winds from Mexico, coffee cherries mature slowly, developing complex aromatics and vibrant acidity.
Mineral-rich volcanic soils, combined with washed processing and sun-drying, result in a cup with a bright fruit-forward profile. Hand sorting ensures that only the ripest cherries make it through.
This coffee offers a syrupy body, juicy citrus acidity, and balanced sweetness, with notes of maple, orange, and milk chocolate.
